The boot bug has disappeared! Kwallet is still broken! I got pylotro to work after discovering that as of wine 1.5.20 they now enable dxd11.dll by default. I had to disable it in winecfg but the kwallet bug causes the game to crash and pylotro to crash and freeze! Can some one please help me solve the kwallet bug? It asks for the password and then about 2 minutes later it asks for the password again! This happens about every two minutes. I have to get ready to go some place but I will check back in a few hours.

Thanks. After I did that I rebooted and kwallet never came up but that crash bug came back! It is synaptikscfg. When I tell it to send an error report, where does it send the report?

Now I can play LOTRO again!

That crash bug is really weird it didn't come up today. It seems to be intermittent! Some days it causes a Ubuntu crash and other days there is no crash. System notification says there is an update so I will update and see if I get the crash after reboot.

@Steve7233 ... I've asked you a couple times to provide the outputs of a few commands that will help us diagnose your problems. I'm pretty sure I know what's causing Synaptiks to crash and how to fix your wallet problem, but unless you can review the thread and supply the requested information, I don't want to guess. It appears that you're making random efforts rather systematically isolating and eliminating problems. We're here to help, but we need you to help us, too.

How do I use print screen? I can't figure it out. The crash error dialogue box is to small to show the full error, even if I drag the window border the screen is still to small! Earlier in this thread I asked where the error report goes thinking you could just go there and read it but no one ever answered that.

@SteveRiley asked you to post the output of
                  Code:
                  dpkg -l | grep synap
to generate an error report from the error dialog box you are speeking about you would first half to have the debug package for the app that is crashing installed then you go about the prosess of reporting it by using the error box , this will have you posting the bug at launchpad I think ,you would then be able to post a link to the bug report hear for us to read .
you did not send the error report or you would know this............I think

press the print screen button on the keyboard ,,,,,,,,,,dose that not launch Ksnapshot?

Ksnapshot does not launch when I press print screen. The dialog box had send error report checked but when I clicked the continue button it just disappeared with no message!

I was able to run ksnapshot manually but I can not figure out how to add the image to this thread. Clicking the copy button doesn’t appearer to do anything.

Again, please review the full thread for specific requests we've made. Vinny even quoted one of my earlier posts.

Regarding KSnapshot, since your PrtSc key isn't working, you can click the Save As button to save the image to a file. Then point your browser to http://www.imgur.com. Upload the image file and let us know the resulting URL.

I had to save two snapshots to get it all:

Today during boot and after logging in to my desktop Ubuntu froze and after several minutes it went to a blank screen with just the mouse cursor working! I tried everything including the three finger keyboard salute but nothing worked! Finally I had to hold down the power button to get it to reboot. Maybe it was just a fluke since it booted normally.

@Steve7233: let's confirm this. Please show the output of
                              Code:
                              dpkg -l | grep synap
Yes, I intentionally typed "synap" on purpose.

Since no one has responded to my January 19th post I decided to read the entire thread to see if I missed anything else. Nothing jumped out at me that I didn't already respond to so I am wondering if I need to start a new thread or what?
