Fast user switching / remove password prompt on login

There are several users using the family computer. I'm wondering if there's a faster way to switch users that doesn't require logging out, choosing another user, typing a password and logging in. I'm also wondering if there's a way to remove the password prompt on login (I'm not talking about blank passwords. I'd like to remove the prompt altogether).

You can select switch user from the power option in kmenu, but you will need to type your password to log in as the new user. You can then press alt+ctrl-F7,8,9... to switch between the sessions and you should not need to login again until you log out.

If each user logs in initially and marks Automatically log in: (in System Settings > Login Screen (LightDM) > General), wouldn't they then just have to select which user with Switch User?

Is there a widget that will sit in the corner of the screen to tell us who is logged in and allow us to click on the desired session to immediately switch over?

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Now if I could get rid of that pesky screen lock when you switch users.
