Correct method to install a new video card

I just picked up a new Nvidia card for my system. Since the video card in my system is also Nvidia, do I have to uninstall the Nvidia driver first? Or can I just swap out the cards and press on?

Previous Video card is in my sig, New card is Nvidia GT630

Shouldn't need any changes to the driver. Due to a hardware failure, Dell swapped my 9800GTs for 240GTSs, and it worked without any changes. You may or may not need to tweak xorg.conf, if you have any custom settings in it for the card.
