Hi
I have an old-ish laptop which I use when travelling which has a crap integrated webcam on the usb bus. On the rare occasions that I want to use a webcam I plug in a much better logitech external one.
I would like to disable the integrated webcam and there is no bios option for this. I can't blacklist the driver because my external webcam uses the same driver.
I assume there must be a way (maybe with udev rules) to blacklist a piece of hardware by it's id on the usb bus. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!
