Extra Desktop Environments in Kubuntu 12.10

I noticed that at log in I now have extra environments, Kubuntu Plasma, Gnome, Gnome Classic and Ubuntu... None of them will load fully accept for KDE Plasma .

Is this something new in 12.10?

Well I don't really care about the bug, I was thinking about downloading 12.10 doing a fresh install, I thought it would be fun if they did.

Since the offical is out I don't really see a point in reporting it. I don't even know when it happened.

If you haven't yet rebuilt your system, I'd be interested in seeing the file /var/log/apt/history.log from your computer. If it's large, please copy to http://paste.kde.org and reply here with the URL.

I was thinking about reinstalling it out today.

Well, you have a lot of GNOME packages in that list. However, they all appear as updates of previously-installed packages. I was hoping to find evidence of when such packages first appeared, and what apt-get command line might have been the cause.

I have not gone out of my way to install any Gnome applications. I have been trying to keep this as is while it was in Beta.
