Thanks for sharing OneLine - time to drop my Debian Squeeze install and prepare for the Lightworks alpha coming 30th of October. I consider KDE at this stage will be rock solid to handle Lightworks just as well as Editshare's vote on Unity/ubuntu.

The installer went smoothly in my Virtual Box, though I noticed the window corners are a bit roughly and unpolished. Hope they will fix them, despite they were the same in 12.04.1.

That's not Kubuntu's fault, but rather that of the Virtual Box graphics drivers.

Kubuntu 12.10 also sports new Gtk Configuratuon center for better integration with Gtk application.
It looks a bit unfinished and IMO, it is not a big deal at all. The old one worked fine too.

I don't see how it would look "unfinished"? It's fairly complete, or what do you think is still missing?
Also, point is, the old one *didn't* work fine. It sometimes failed to apply a Gtk2 theme and/or font, so you had to use gtk-chtheme to set them, which always worked.
Besides that, the old one didn't support Gtk3 *at all*, while the new one does.
You can also select icon sets for Gtk apps to use, which you couldn't set in the old one.
Finally, the new one supports additional "Behaviour" settings which the old one didn't have either.
Overall, the new Configuration Centre is a *great* improvement over the old one.

Among other cool features and improvements, there probably still many bugs.

There's an "are" missing. Also, it's very bad form to write overly generalised stuff like "There are probably still many bugs." It would be *much* better if you wrote the following:
"One bug I found is the following: <Chromium bug>"

Finally, there's a typo in "Configuratuon" -> "Configuration", and another one further down: "have'nt" -> "haven't".

I would've written that as a comment on your webpage, but as the buttons at the bottom for adding comments and such are all in Russian, I couldn't figure out which to use.

When I installed Kubuntu 12.04 the corners were smooth, but the bug first appeared in 12.04.1 during install on real machine - Intel video driver, I think I should fill the bug ticket.

That way, it's probably an intel graphics drivers problem. Intel graphics hardware is often problematic.

I would still add what I said about the new Gtk configuration dialog, i.e. that the old one *didn't* always work, and that the new one is a great improvement and such.
