Thumbnails in Dolphin

I will confirm that the above apps will, indeed, produce thumbnails for images, but the thumbnails for "music" either does not work or is "spotty". Video does seem to work.

This on mp4, mp3, and flv.

Quantal beta OS.

That is a bit old:

May 26th 2008...i use Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, KDE 3.5.9

With the KDE 4.X the thumbnailing: http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-a...mbCreator.html

The KDE is having some thumbnailers included and the KDE-Apps is having more.

At here, with the kde-thumbnailer-audiothumbs:

Description: a thumbnailer for the audio file art
Plugin for KDE file managers (Dolphin and Konqueror) to preview cover arts
embedded in Audio (MP3, FLAC, M4A, OGG) file tags as Thumbnails.
