    Muon bugs etc .

    Running in virturlbox

Qapt seems to be buggy, When i installed refractasnapshot-gui, Qapt also installed, Gnome keying, and some other none needed junk, I don’t use qapt much, so i dunno if it does this with other programs

There is also this bug, when starting software manger, Here is a screen shot http://s8.postimage.org/fv9zww2lv/snapshot5.png

On Synaptic, you can select programs by clicking on the box next to the program, and installing or removing mass amounts of junk programs that one does not need with a few clicks, On this muon program you have to Right CLICK, Then click install or remove? That’s double the clicks!

Also it would be nice if you could have the option of listing download size and installed size Synaptic also does this, Its useful when your building your own system with refracta to keep the ISO CD size small..

Check for updates and full upgrade should be moved to the right side of the program so one does not hit it when trying to click apply updates..

You don't. It isn't a bug. There are package dependencies. You don't control them, the packager does.

Muon is suppose to be a kde program, Why would it need gnome junk? let alone gnome-keying? Don't kde wallet do the same thing?

Again, you're jumping to conclusions rather than taking the time to investigate. muon-discover recommends ubuntu-sso-client, which in turn depends on many GNOME-related packages. You can instruct Muon not to treat recommended packages as dependences; by doing this, then you will see that none of the GNOME packages will be installed.

Do also note that Muon Discover is still highly experimental, and as such, these things should be taken into account.
The ubuntu-sso, which is pulling in the keyring, is for logging in to launchpad, UbunutuOne and the like, probably to add or allow reviews or other features that would require an Ubuntu login account.

Using the search feature here on KFN will show a number of threads for discussion on Muon and its features, at least one monitored by its developer.
