I send a lot of PDF attachments from Libre Office through Thunderbird by using File | Send | Email as PDF. Works well, and automatically provides a subject in the outgoing email using the filename of the file I am sending. However, it is substituting %20 for spaces in the file I am sending. For instance, if I were to send the file Foo Bar as a PDF attachment, the subject line of the email becomes Foo%20Bar. Annoying, and hard to read, AND unnecessary.
T-Bird has had issues with this going back to 2007, though I have found nothing recent online. There is obviously something in T-Bird that is causing this. Anyone know what parameter needs to be adjusted to stop this behavior?
Thunderbird help website does not allow for searching of special characters, like %, So I haven't been able to find anything there.
Thanks.
Frank.
