No worries. It's fixed in the nightlies, so if you download them, then you'll have the fix. I guess it'll take a few months to roll out into the Kubuntu repos. (The workaround is fine for me in the meantime though, as I have a relatively fast computer, and it doesn't create a slowdown.)

Yes, the fix is fine for me, also. Interesting how, when this happens, we all start looking for 'crazy' correlates to try to figure out the triggers and causes. Good thing NOT to be the only person carrying on like that alone!
