apt-get dist-upgrade is the preferred method, because it will pull in previously-uninstalled dependencies if an upgraded package needs them. apt-get upgrade will skip upgrading such packages.
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
