I have scoured the internet but found nobody else listing this problem yet:
I just upgrade my Kubuntu 12.04 install to KDE 4.11. After rebooting and logging in, I see that all window borders are missing. It makes no difference if I go into settings and change the theme or window appearance.
There's another bug too: I always have the task bar set on the "Windows can cover" option. But that does not work. Instead, it acts like the "auto-hide" option where it's hidden until mouse is on bottom of screen.
Has anyone else seen these problems (especially window borders) after this install?? The previous version of KDE worked just fine for me.
