Computer feels buggy after latest set of updates

Just wandering. This week my kernel was updated to 3.2.0-38generic and I had a series of Java updates and then flash was updated too amongst other things. Now Chromium will crash very often showing the dying folder icon, I have to click my louse several times to get the desired action and I am getting one crash report after the other.

Is these a know bug with the system?

I suggest seeing if a new user suffers from the same problems, that will tell you if there is a problem with your user configs or not.

A couple of re starts made things a bit more snappy. I think there is a general issue with browsers and Flash nowadays. I might delete my chromium profile for a start.
