My kubuntu 12.04 going slower and swap quickly filled

Hi (sorry for my bad english..)

i use my kubuntu now, but my kubuntu is going slower and swap area is almost full just for runing chrome and konsole..
before that, same thing happen when i run VLC and okular this morning...

anyone know why it happened?
and how to solve it?

i use kubuntu 12.04.1 (i update it yesterday).
my laptop is Asus X44C, intel celeron dual core b800 with ram 2GB and swap 3GB...

my swap is 2,1 GB now....

ah, i get it, it just bug of some kde effect...
just setting effect all is done.

Not at all useless. I am a long-time user and have always turned off Desktop effects. My Precise was also appearing slow to me. After your comment I noted that even though I had effects turned off, they (the eager-beaver developers) separated the effects so that some remain on (animations) and have to be additionally disabled.

Now I have disabled those as well and the system is fast again.
