Login Screen configuration to display users as in LightDM.

Hi, I'm using kubuntu 12.04 and the default display manager in it is kdm. I have also tried kubuntu 12.10 which has LightDM display manager. I like the login screen in LightDM where there is no editable username field.

And in kubuntu 12.04 the login screen has editable username field which requires me to type the username while shifting between sessions. I don't want an editable username field. I tried to configure "login screen" settings but couldn't find it . Also tried editing /etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc with no success.

So, how can i configure kdm to display users the way LightDM does ?

LightDM KDE greeter is available for the Kubuntu 12.04: http://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthr...01-Lightdm-KDE
    and: http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/lightdm-kde-greeter

KDE login screen / KDM greeter has a help:
KDE System Settings > Login Screen > Help (lower left corner)
The Chapter 6. Creating themes for the kdm greeter (and editing the KDM themes)

The themes are in the /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/...
