    Installing default wallpapers

I have two laptops side by side running Kubuntu 12.04. They are both displaying the screen entitled "Desktop Settings -- Plasma Desktop Shell". But one of them has a button for "Install Default Wallpapers" and the other does not! Furthermore, after trying "Get new wallpapers", they display different collections of wallpapers. What might account for the difference?

Hm... not sure if I've seen an Install default wallpapers button. On each machine, what is the output of
    Code:
    dpkg -l | grep wallpaper

Im pretty sure that once you click the "Install Default Wallpapers" button, it goes away. Have you already don this on one of the machines?

Yes, "install default wallpapers" brought the two displays into agreement, more or less. Thanks!!!
