    File location for autostart programs

I installed a auto shutdown program for a given time and now it is locking up my computer at startup. What I would like to do is boot from a usb drive and manually remove the program load option in the auto start folder / file. However I do not know the location of the auto start folder/file. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Thank you for the info, I will go and make the changes. It was KDEInit that will calling for ark to start, I renamed ark using by booting for a usb drive, that work but then I received a notification when everything was loaded that ark did not load. I removed ark using Moun and now the computer locks up again on Java7 loading. I would like to replace the KDEInit file also, do you have any idea where it is located?

      Thanks again for your help.

Wow! no need to change KDEInit, once I removed the file in the autostart directory all is back to normal. I can't thank you enough.
