    Amarok segmentation fault on shutdown

That's it. Every time I reboot or do an exit from Amarok, it gets a segmentation fault.

I'm in Kubuntu 12.04 AMD64, but this problem is older than that. I have googled it, and found many results, none of them satisfactory. I do not feel like reconfiguring my whole KDE desktop.

    Suggestions?

Yes this happened to me as well, also 64-bit 12.04(.1) Kubuntu, when shutting down the first time on a fresh install... not nice. However for now it seems to have stopped, the last few shut downs all went fine without crashing Amarok. Maybe the update to KDE 4.8.5 made some difference but I thought Amarok stopped crashing before that. Could also be that this is related to the state you leave Amarok in, i.e. if playback is paused or stopped.
