    Lancelot - Documents Menu

I use the Lancelot Launcher Menu, it has a Documents menu which includes a list of recent documents.

Does anyone know where it gets the list of recent documents from, as it is selective about which type of document it will show.

For example, LibreOffice documents are not shown in the list, yet if I have a LibreOffice document open it shows in the 'Open' section of the Documents list.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

The KDE is keeping information of the recent documents in the ~/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/ .

    At here:
    :~$ ls -l /home/oneline/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/
    total 32
    -rw------- 1 oneline oneline 123 Jul 28 21:26 directory.desktop
    -rw------- 1 oneline oneline 159 Aug 21 16:46 DocTest.odt.desktop
    -rw------- 1 oneline oneline 230 Jul 28 21:15 dolphin_detailsmodesettings.kcfgc.desktop
    -rw------- 1 oneline oneline 233 Jul 28 21:22 dolphin_detailsmodesettings.kcfg.desktop

The KDE application launchers are showing the information:

The LibreOffice is not a KDE application. It is keeping own records in the ~/.libreoffice/.

... yet if I have a LibreOffice document open it shows in the 'Open' section of the Documents list...
The LO has been launched through the KDE so The KDE is "aware" of the LO status.

The KDE will show the LO documents in the recent documents if they have been opened via a KDE application (KDE file manager).

Thanks, OneLine, that is very useful information - at least I now understand why this is.
