trouble with KDE-4.9.00

Vinny, i'm using master KDE(workspace, etc), which contains the fix. I've tested actions with mouse wheel on titlebar (aurorae decorations) and it's working. Try build kde-workspace again, according to previous instructions, but instead those wget's use:
Code:apt-get source kde-workspace

ok ........I just did the build again with the "apt-get source kde-workspace" and still a no go on title bar mouse wheel events.
the kde-workspace came in through kubuntu-backports and I added the kde-workspace-a.diff as described before .
guess I'll be waiting for your upload

You only need to upgrade kde-window-manager-common, and some few other packages that it pulls, no need to do full dist-upgrade, and you can disable PPA afterwards.Last edited by sumski; Aug 05, 2012, 08:18 AM.sigpic

Humm trying to downgrade kde-window-manager-common (to your PPA)with synaptic>force version tryes to remove a lot of things and not replace them (like kdm)
remember all my kde-workspace is now labelled *4.9.0-0ubuntu2~precise1~ppa3_amd64.deb

thank you Sr. reinstalling the kde-window-manager-common with synaptic pulled it in from your PPA and the mouse wheel events on title bar for aurorae decorations is resolved

if your going to leave that PPA up I will post it to the bug report for anyone else that runs across it .....if you say it's ok ?
guess I'll go a head and do a sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade to pull in the rest of it .....mite as well yes/no ?
