Activity icons arent saved

Hi @all,

i have found some bug reports related to my problem, but no solution. Maybe someone here could help.
When i set an icon for an activity, it is not saved. Even when i activate one of the preinstalled activities they loose their icon. I know this does not happen in Linuxmint 12 KDE (its KDE 4.7.4 based), which i have installed in a VM. But it also happens in the new Linuxmint 13 KDE.

As far as i know changing the icon dosent work at all, when the strigi indexing service is shut down (why is something like changing an icon related to indexing at all?). But i have it running here.
All i have found at google about such a bug is marked as fixed in 4.8.4, but it seems not to be. Is there any solution?

I know that in 4.9 Beta 2 (which I am running on Kubuntu 12.04) the icons save fine, though it was a known issue in earlier versions. So this bug you have is indeed fixed. You can either wait a few more weeks until 4.9 is officially released, or install the Beta 2 now. The instructions are on the Kubuntu.org website.

Status: RESOLVED WONTFIX

With the KDE 4.9 (http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=99463):

The icons will not depend on nepomuk anymore.
