BOINC Issue

same basic problem, upgraded from kubuntu 11.10 to 12.4 and BOINC can no longer communicate with the server..

does not connect to server.

I do suggest also looking at BOINC's forums as they will have more knowledge on this, I think
While BOINC is in the Ubuntu repos, it is from the "Universe" component, and as such may just be a direct import of a Debian package and may not have a lot of maintainers or support in Ubuntu.
