    Fine tuning Plasmoids look

Hello, is there a way to select, just for a single plasmoid, a theme different for the current one?

In example, I'm currently using "Air for ultra-portable" and I'd like, if possible, to select a more transparent theme just for the folder view plasmoid, leaving all the others unchanged. Is there a way to do this?

To to this, go to system Settings >> Workspace Appearance >> Desktop Theme, then click on the Details tab. Change the setting for Transparent Background to a different theme. This seems to do what you are looking for: see the attached screenshot of how it looks for me adding a number of widgets.

Mmhh, this does not seem to do what I meant. I just wanted to change the look of a single plasmoid, just that one an no other.

Besides that, customizing a theme seems to screw it all: in example, if I start from "air for ultraportable" and change a setting, say panel background to "fushigi", I retain the old panel setting but my desktop clock changes to "oxygen" and so on...

I don't know what plasmoids the settings I found changes, but it is what I found that would do it - I normally only have one widget on my desktop the weather one. I added a bunch and went to see if it could be done for the folder view widget.

themeing is not perfect, sometimes I think I have had to log out/log in to see the correct elements change to the custom ones I selected using this method in the past. This seems directly related to the downloaded theme, some have done what you are seeing, others do not.

There is no real mechanism to edit themes per widget as far as I can find. The widget itself has to be written with that feature - such as yawp.

Note - as the "claydoh" told: the widget needs an own background picture. panel-background.svgz, plot-background.svgz, etc...
