anyway, I use to have problems with my screen locking with the 4.8.3 and nvidia drivers 295.49 using openGL. Now everything works! Any body expiriencing an improvement?

Oh ya! I used the PPA to upgrade to 4.8.4 about a month or so ago.

Funnily enough I did have a couple of lock ups before, but since upgrading to 4.8.4 it's been fantastic. I'll keep an eye on it and see how it goes.

I just got it today ....................haven’t been doing my updates in a wile .
