Get older articles with Akregator

I have imported my OPML feedlist into Akregator, and I noticed that in many sources the program only gets some of the newest articles.
Is there a way to set it to retrieve also lesser recent ones, in example by setting a default number of articles or to get the news from the past week, or the past month, and so on?

You can go to the settings set it to save all, a certain number, or by age globally.
While Akregator or other rss readers may archive posts indefinitely after you have downloaded them, it is likely that the individual rss feeds themselves only go so far back in time or in number of posts.
