    Enter times in Libreoffice Calc automatically.

    How can I make a list of times with 15 minute intervals in a column automatically? I want A1 to read 8:00 AM for example, then A2 to read 8:15 AM and so on down the column for an eight hour span. Need a spreadsheet guru here.

    Select the column and set Format Cells... > Numbers > Time to 01:37 PM
    In A1 type: 08:00:00 and press Enter
    Select column A.
    Click Edit > Fill > Series...
    Set:
    Direction = Down
    Start Value = 08:00:00
    End Value = 16:00:00
    Increment = 00:15:00
    Click OK.

    Done.

        I use spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) at work a lot. I build custom worksheets to meet specific needs as/when they arise. I'm not sure what I would do if such a tool didn't exist! :eek:

          A few (15) years ago I got very good with Excel, but my skills have rusted considerably because of lack of use. I once created a 3000 line macro in Excel to maintain the membership information for the state headquarters of a very large veteran's organization. They are still using it. I had to use a lot of Excel's VB to make it work. The actual database was in a FoxPro program. This was on Win95.
