Kubuntu 12.04 - Error while upgrading from PPA

    Hello Folks:
I am getting this error message in update manager:

    Package: /var/cache/apt/archives/libalkimia4_4.3.1-1_i386.deb
Error: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/pkgconfig/libalkimia.pc', which is also in package libalkimia 4.3.1-0ubuntu1~ppa6

When trying to upgrade Kmymoney from version 4.6.1-oneiric to 4.6.2-precise from:

    deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/claydoh/kmymoney2-kde4/ubuntu precise main, repo.

My 4.6.1 was also from above PPA.
Now, update manager shows kmymoney as a broken package.
How can I resolve this issue to have version 4.6.2-precise rather than old one?
    Thanks in advance!
    P. S. my kubuntu 12.04 is an upgrade of 10.04 version.

Hmm thats my ppa, probably a packaging bug as now libalkimia is in the regular repos, my version is mis-versioned. I suggest uninstalling libalkimia, update, then try again.

There was no libalkimia in Debian until very recently, and when they added it they called it libalkimia4 for whatever arcane reasons they follow As this is an Ubuntu "Universe" package, it was automagically pulled in to the repos from debian and I did not notice the naming difference.
