problem for upgrading 10.04 LTS to 12.04 LTS

As the title say, I'm trying this procedure:

But when my KPackagekit is open, never show me the option at step 1....

Please help me....

Someone told me to use this command:
sudo do-release-upgrade -f kde -d

And it seems to work...
