undo distro part install and recover old distro

As the thread title suggests part of the install for 13.04 on usb made its way to my sda drive and I think has over written the MBR or such that I cannot locate 12.04. Here is the Link to my other post with info on the old and new sda config. Any chance of some help to try and restore 12.04 or at least retrieve documents & emails that I haven't backed up over the last year?
