          i now have 3.2.0-40-generic-pae kernel.

graphic drivers are both installed and have reboot a couple of times and have get to the login screen instead of console mode as reported previously... could it be the kernel update? i think that yesterday as 3.2.0-32 or 36.

Not sure. I know that Cedar Trail has been troublesome in the past, but I haven't followed its development very closely.

So, to confirm, the graphical login manager is working for you now?

yes. after some more updates (including a kernel one, that gives me a 3.2.0-40 version) seems to fixed the problem...
