I seem to remember seeing somewhere that it is possible to select which output grub uses for display, it could be a serial port for one. I was wondering if there are two video cards if it is possible to select one video card for grub, and thus Linux, to use for video output. Is this so?

GRUB is the boot manager. AFAIK, which monitor it uses has no impact on what display a particular linux distribution chooses for video output.

True, but with the OSS Radeon driver, it is possible to change video cards with CLI parameters within grub. So I was wondering if there is a way to choose which video card is used by GRUB2 and the kernel, since IIRC the CLI parameters are loaded before the graphics are displayed.
