Looks like I'm getting the same error:
      cliff@cliff-Aspire-one:~/Documents$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-3.2.0-30-generic

      Building dependency tree
      Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
linux-headers-3.2.0-30-generic : Depends: linux-headers-3.2.0-30 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

          did you do a
          Code:
          sudo apt-get update
before trying to dist-upgrade or install the new headers........if not then apt dose not know where to find the missing packages .

sudo apt-get install -f gives error same as in first post in this topic, just for linux-headers-3.5.0-18-generic

Tried everything before it - clean, autoclean, autoremove...

In grub i can log with 3.2.0-33.generic too, but still i get unmet independencies error

            When i enter:

            Code:
            sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
            I get:

            Code:

I'm different user then abear. My problem showed when i upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 Lubuntu.

edit: removed linux-headers-generic and solved the problem

edit 2: problem persists, so i'll just do the clean install...

The confusion is somewhat understandable - you really should have created your own thread, as this thread is in the sub-forum dedicated to 12.04, while you are running 12.10.
