Kmail - timeout trying to get lock
Would anyone have encountered a message like this, please? I am moving from Kubuntu 10.04 to 12.04. Everything seems to have loaded successfully including Kmail which I can boot - but I cannot send or collect messages. I get a rejection 'Unknown error (Timeout trying to get lock)'. That cannot be a connection problem because I can switch into ReKonq and view web pages. I am inclined to try removing the Kmail component and reload it from the CD but wondered if anyone had been here before me.
