Hi All,
After a fresh installation of Nicotine-Plus I am persistently getting "Cannot connect" result when trying to download some music.
First I checked if I have my router with an open port and it said it didn't have one. However, some months ago when I used Nicotine for the last time before removing it (had to do a re-install of my computer) it was working just fine under the same closed port status. Actually, it was the same when I was using Soulseek running on Win and it was also working greatly.
Then I've checked if I have my shares configured correctly.
Tried with changing the user in case it has come with conflict logging with my previous user details.
Still I'm having the same status and cannot download music. I did also removal of the software a couple of times but it seems that a file with configuration settings is being kept on my system somewhere, so every time I install Nicotine I got the same result.
Purging it also didn't help...
I'm pretty sure I don't want to mess with my router and network settings, so is someone out there who has experienced same/similar problems and eventually wants to share an opinion/advice?
Thanks in advance guys and sorry for my English..
