active corners: present windows and Alt+tab error

After today updates some desktop effects doesn't work: screen edge → active corners → present windows - all desktop shows windows as if they were on one desktop. Alt+tab doesn't show windows miniatures (only icon with title). I checked on two accounts - the same errors.

Maybe I have something messed with configuration because in a meantime I added backports but have to purge them because of errors.

Can anyone tell me what are the package names for those functions and eventually check this behaviour.

It works fine on my system (KDE 4.8.5).

You can reset kwin to its defaults and configure desktop effects and active corners from scratch by deleting ~/.kde/share/config/ kwinrc file and then hit alt+f2 and type kwin --replace and hit enter.

If I understood you correctly you are looking Cover Switch effect. You can turn it on in System settings>Desktop effects>All effects.

I think these all things are managed by kwin. So you are looking for kwin package

What version of KDE are you using? Here, with KDE 4.9.00, all is well.

I was thinking about the effect that is called Desktop grid.
I deleted kwin related files in ~/.kde/share/config/ and set effects again. And everything is ok now. Thank you for your help.

One more thing. Previously I used "Present Windows" effect → Toogle Present Windows (Current desktop) and when I pointed mouse on a window it was enough to release Ctrl+F9 (I had this as Alt+Tab) without clicking and window was maximised/activated. I have chosen option for Windows left mouse button "activate window" but now I need to click on window to activate it.
Can anyone tell me if this is releted to other effects settings or smething is wrong? Can you check on your desktop please?
