Hello.
How can I define the default settings for new users?
The settings include appearance settings, KDE panel customizations, Dolphin custom buttons, Firefox settings and Gnome settings (to put the window close button in the right side instead of the left size).
I think that the default settings are stored somewhere in /usr/ and I just need to replace the files by the files in the home.
If I learn how to define default settings to an application I think that I will be able to find out how to do it with other applications.
It would let me to save settings and transfer to other computers.
Does it set the settings for root?
If I am using qtcurve widgets and run "sudo kate", kate will be using oxygen widgets instead of qtcurve. Oxygen is the default theme for new users.
Thanks.
