I use a tool from TD Ameritrade called Trade Architect and when I log in it just spins in an infinite loop while it is verifying credentials. I'm convinced it is a bug with 12.04. I've tried it on three different computers and used three different browsers (Google Chrome, Chromium & Firefox). Everything was fine on 11.10 and previous versions. Any ideas?

I have the openjdk6 jre headless. I'm not sure if upgrading to 7 would work since everything worked fine under version 6 in 11.10 & 11.04. I looked in Synaptic at what java I do not have installed and there are a million options. Maybe when I upgraded something didn't carry over from 11.10

No, it's the Oracle version, 1.6.0_27. Someone else suggested it might be a firewall issue but my firewall is disabled.

Tell me about it. I called TD Ameritrade personally and they told me to use Windows. I just laughed.
Originally posted by TeunisI mean more like the original from Oracle or the Icedtea version.
