Enable standard desktop on eeepc901 netbook?

I succeeded in getting 12.04 to install on the 4 GB SSD system drive of my Asus eeepc901. Tight fit, but it works. /home is in the 12 GB SSD also installed in this machine.

It booted up with the plasma netbook interface. I prefer the standard desktop. How do I switch? I've opened the control panel, and while I see a lot of stuff that is familiar, I see no way to enable the standard desktop.

    Thanks.

    Frank.

    Never mind. Found it....

Settings | WorkSpace Behavior | WorkSpace | WorkSpace Type | Desktop

Takes a few seconds for the change to 'take' on a limited machine like this, but it did work.
