Lost access to Vista machine after upgrade to 12.04

When I was running 11.10 (64bit), I used SAMBA to access files and share the printer on my wife's Vista laptop - we share a Netgear router.

Now I've upgraded to 12.04, the access has gone. Can somebody help me to set up Samba again? Or, help me access the printer in a different way if that's easier (file sharing is not essential).

    Thank you

    Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install samba
Then configure /etc/samba/smb.conf for your usage case.

Thanks for the reply, dibl. I've tried to configure Samba as it was before, but no joy - something (probably very small) is wrong.

As a short-term fix, I've moved the printer from her laptop to mine, so it now works for me, and I do most of the printing. I'll try setting her laptop up to share, rather than the other way round.

      Cheers
