Software/update speed-up suggestion for new people...

I found the default server to be very slow (I am used to 1.2MB/s) so I did this...open Muon Software Centre, click Settings in the menu bar, click Configure Software Sources, the password dialogue will open, enter your password and click OK, there is a 'Download from' drop down list in the first tab, drop it down and select 'Other', EXPAND your country in the list and highlight any server in your country's list, now click Select Best Server, it will auto-find the server with the best connection to you (you should do this around the time of day you would normally install software and get updates, it actually makes a difference for what server it chooses), click OK after it is done (you may get a Reload Package Information dialogue, do it), OK and close your way out the Configure Software Sources dialogue (OK takes priority over Close when you are happy with the settings and leaving those settings).
