Printer on LAN and or WiFi - can't get it done what to do

I have a new printer that is set up on the LAN and is also Wifi. It is an Epson WF-3620. Aside from the fact that the automatic document feeder doesn't work well with the Windows 64 programs - it isn't a bad printer.

The tablets can hit the printer through WiFi, the Mac can also hit it and I would like to have the Linux boxes hit it. The trouble is that when I go to add printers for the Linux, the only printer that can be found to install is an Epson WF-1100.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

It sees the printer on the LAN but it also needs to install some printer information and that information stops at Epson WF-1100.

The install driver page says that I could use the PPD file that came on the printer disk. Can't find the files on the disk.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

      Thanks.

      I have it working.

The problem is that the printing is light and the one Linux box won't print in color (using 64 bit driver).

Maybe the Ubuntu forum can point you in the right direction, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2239056. Looks like a similar problem.

I had to go into spadmin and set the default settings to postscript level 1 / grayscale off and media type plain papers-High.

          Now LibreOffice is printing well.
