WLAN connection freezes when i locking screen

Hello, i have small trouble.

When i locking screen my wifi connection freezes after some small time. How to solve it?

lspci -k

Run it in a Konsole window.

Hm. Well, I was hoping you might have an Atheros card -- because there's an easy fix for those. Alas, I'm not sure what to say about Broadcom.

coderus, there is a proprietary driver available from Broadcom for your chipset - have you installed it?

Kickoff > Applications > System > Additional Drivers (first choice)

See if the Broadcom driver appears in the list.

See this page on the Ubuntu wiki. Says BCM4313 is supported.

yes i'm using proprietary Broadcom STA Driver (wl)
opensource bcma also working, but working really bad.

so, just upgraded to 12.10, will see if any difference.

You say the connection freezes. Exactly what are you experiencing? Is this problem preventing or delaying you from logging back in after you've locked the screen?
