    which image file has 3.2 kernel (no hardware enablement)? in ubuntu i found them easily, but what about Kubuntu? does the DVD 12.04 image have older xserver and kernel? the 12.04.2 version can not handle radeon HD 2000 - 4000 GPU's ....

    The 12.04 LTS .iso can be downloaded from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/re...ecise/release/

      just to be shure this is the one right?: kubuntu-12.04-desktop-amd64+mac.iso

      original 3.2 kernel and xserver?

        Yes. The newer xorg/kernel pair is in 12.04.2. The file date is also a give-away. April 2012 for the one you selected above and Feb. 2013 for 12.04.2
