Hello,
I have a Dell keybord, model SK-8135. The multimedia keys work fine under Ubuntu, but not Kubuntu.
How can I make it work on both environements?
Here is more information:
I first installed Ubuntu 12.04. If I open my session by selecting "Gnome" or "Ubuntu", then the keys to control the volume work fine, such as mute, and the wheel (knob) to increase or decrease volume.
I then installed the kubuntu-desktop package, and logged in Kubuntu. There the multimedia keys of this keyboard do not work correctly.
If I close my session and log back in Gnome, they work.
After more investigation, I found out that the keys kind-of-work: they do not control the correct thing. Look at the Kmix image attached: the multimedia keys control the left part, while they should control the right one. How can I change that?
Thanks for your help ;-)
