    Synaptik Touchpad Managerment not seen

I have 64 Bit precise on HP Pavilion DV6 Laptop.
I want to change some touchpad settings. But under System Settings> Input Devices, I find that Touchpad management option is MISSING. I mean there is no touchpad management option in the input devices option!. Since touchpad is working quite well, it means that hardware is detected. But no place for changing the settings.... Does any one have any idea where to change touch pad settings from? (I know this option was there in 11.10, but not sure if it is missing in 12.04 right from the beginning...)

Thanks, I noticed that Muon showed "kde config touchpad" not installed. So I installed it and touchpad started showing up in the input devices. Perhaps, it was present earlier (That is why the touchpad options were seen earlier) but may be it got removed when I installed KDE Plasma workspace 4.9 Beta from kubuntu backports yesterday. (Although I dont know why that happened)

The thread can be closed. Thanks a lot Teunis....
