Keyboard and mouse stops working after ndiswrapper driver install

Just got me a Netgear wna3100 network adapter and, of course, there's no native Linux support. So I used ndiswrapper to install the winblows driver and I've had this issue ever since. Both usb devices will work fine for a long while (can't guess exactly how long) but after I leave the computer and the screen goes blank, I cannot wake up the computer except for pushing the power button and then I have no mouse or keyboard. The only way to get them started again is a hard restart.

I've already tried to reinstall Xorg and that helped a lot. Kept the mouse and keyboard from going out sooner. My guess is Xorg, but I don't know how to configure it.

    Any suggestions?

Well, I've tried everything. I purged Xorg, Ndiswrapper, and reinstalled everything.... some things helped, but nothing worked. I've come to realize that Windows drivers are nothing but a pain, so I flipped the network adapter the bird and took it back to Staples with a quick pit stop to Lowe's. Picked up some wall plates and such, and ran ethernet up in my attic.

Now my connection works perfectly and my computer doesn't do any weird crap. And I didn't have to do any fricking code or install any extra programs, etc... just grabbed some tools and went to work, which is a lot better than sitting on my butt in front of a computer screen and not getting anything done!

Sometimes, the best way is the old fashioned way.
