Amarok on precise

Hi

Just wondering if someone can confirm if amarok is working OK yet on precise? I have amarok 2.5 from the backports repo on oneiric, and there is a problem with running scripts for lyrics etc. Apparently this is a known problem related to the upgrade to qt 4.8.

I'm hoping it gets fixed in time for the release of precise (not long to go!)

It works fine for me, but you really should avoid to combine Oneiric and Precise packages.

Keep in mind that some scripts just don't work and others are quite sketchy to say the least. As the scripts are out of the responsibility of the Amarok developers there is nothing we can do about that. The user is free to use the scripts s/he wants but has to live with the fact that those are user contributed as well. The Amarok developers only support the built-in scripts.

As for the problem related to Qt 4.8 this was solved a long time ago in Precise
