Not to worry. The 'latest' kernel for 12.04 is (at least here, as of the other day) 3.2.0-23.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

There is a big difference between the two.Did you notice any difference in fan behavior with RC1 vs. RC2?
On RC1 the fan was very load, now it is quieter.
