    Beta 2: one week away!

    Thursday 29 March, according to the schedule. Judging by how stable it's been on my X1, I'm seriously considering paving my T520 ("work" machine) the weekend after that Thursday. Oneiric is feeling a bit rusty, heh; not sure if I can wait until the end of April!

    I couldn't wait past January 3rd on my new Acer!

    This will be the second time I've followed a distro from Alpha through Gold and didn't install/reinstall it when it went Gold. Wasn't a need to. Doesn't appear to be a need now.

      I've been using 12.04 since I installed it, with the intent to just 'test' it, but it has been completely trouble free for me, so I've been using it as my main OS since it was installed.
      Windows no longer obstructs my view.
      Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

        About a week ago I was seriously tempted to install 12.04 on all my computers until the Grub update incident made the precise computer totally unusable. I spent considerable time trying to restore it, but it was ony after I downloaded the build for the 22nd March was I able to get it going.

        For this reason I will wait till beta 2, and then try a reinstall, to see if the problems that I experienced when using the 22nd March build have been fixed.
