My wife is running a kubuntu 11.04 box with a shared printer queue (default settings).
TBH, I've always had problems with shared printer queues in kubuntu - seeing/accessing them is pretty hit/miss. But with 12.04 it just won't see them.
Both machines have static IP's on a wireless network.
